Manthos D. Delis
Professor of Financial Economics and Banking
Surrey Business School

==========================================================
Welcome to my site!!
Since August 2012 I am a with the Surrey Business School. My research involves various elements of empirical economics, primarily economics of banking.
I try to be a good instructor and I advice my students to remember Woody Allen's words: "Students achieving oneness will move to twoness."
As you probably know Greece went bankrupt in 2010. So being a Greek economist is not very flattering. Check the Greek Economists for Reforms webpage on the left for valuable articles on the Greek economy. To some extent I agree with Albert who said that "The most difficult thing in the world to understand is the income tax" and with Alfred Knopf who suggested that "Economists state the obvious in terms of the incomprehensible."
